Cinnabar and Amber

Cinnabar's bio is included on the ref pic, so I'm not going to waste time here:
she's an assassin, trying to eliminate Rose Quartz and her followers. In Rose's absence, Steven will do.
Except that obviously, no-one's going to let it happen. They will befriend the indoctrinated killer
and adopt her whether she likes that or not. XD
Amber, however, is special. She's half organic, a result of Homeworld experimenting with injecting gem DNA into trees sometime back when trees were REALLY LARGE. Amber is not the sole result of that project, but she doesn't know where the others of her kin might be.
Amber is (by homeworld standards) a failure - she lacks the shapeshifting ability, though she can regenerate and possesses a small weapon (a karambit knife). She can't produce her clothes either, so all her 'fits are actual clothes. She also requires some food and sleep though far less than a human.
She's been around for a long time and she loves Earth and the humans - she finds them endlessly fascinating. Back in the times when it was easy to disappear and change identity, she took up writing and she produced a few decently famous works; and now, in an age when fake IDs are much harder to come by, she uses the royalties to supply her needs like food, accommodation, and travel.
